Baby Marin

I've known this family (now a family of five!) for a few years now and love getting to see their beautiful girls grow and change.  This session was so fun: we were capturing images of newborn Marin, their third, but the personalities of the big sisters were equally fun to document.

So nice to meet you, Marin baby.  Congrats Ramsey family!  xo

Sometimes I walk into a house and can't believe the family just had a new baby join them.  Clara's big sister played contentedly, parents looked rested, calm and happy.  No baby is always a dream I'm sure, but this little one's transition has been juuust fine.  Enjoy. :)

(I said I only included that last one because they weren't first time parents.  Sarah thought it was great.  :)  Sometimes it's real life and it's still adorable.)

Congrats T+S!  So thrilled to celebrate parenthood with you a second time.  xo

(Iphone photo from our trip to Columbus to visit cousins.  I hope they do lots and lots of this.)

Maternity Session in Valley Forge

About two years ago, I met and photographed this family when their second daughter was born.  This year we met up on a blustery day to celebrate the pending arrival of their third little girl.

I loved the open, bare landscape as a backdrop of the park, don't you?  And this beautiful mama is wearing her grandmother's scarf.  Love significant little details.

We had a few quiet minutes but kept tabs on Will and the girls by the sounds of happy squeals as he chased them around the bare trees.  :)

Here are a few more favorites from that February morning:

Can't wait to meet this baby girl, Ramseys!  xo
